East West Manufacturing CEO Speaks at GSU Global Partners MBA Program
East West Manufacturing CEO and co-founder, Scott Ellyson, was a featured guest speaker for Georgia State University’s Global Partners MBA Program on Thursday, March 7th. The Global Partners program is taught by Dr. Karen Loch and is an unmatched classroom experience where students rotate their studies throughout three of the word’s leading international cities: Atlanta, Georgia, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Paris, France. The MBA students also have interaction with corporate and government leaders with business tours including extended company visits to China, Washington, D.C., and Brussels.
Scott Ellyson gave real-world advice on doing business with China, including how a business functions and the reasoning behind his decisions to set up manufacturing operations in multiple countries, taking into account the rising labor costs, taxes, and other regulations imposed.
